As per Article 5 of our constitution (http://ameraucana.org/constitution) I've appointed an Election Commissioner and Assistant.
Ken Olsen, of KS has agreed to be our Election Commissioner and Max Strawn, of TX agreed to be our Assistant Election Commissioner.
Thanks to both for helping out as needed.

Hello. I've read through the bylaws and constitution and it appears there is no nomination process. If someone is interested in helping out on the board, they just let the President know of their intent to run for a board position by October 1st? Is that correct? Thank you

Pretty much so...we used to "nominate", but then the nominee would either run or decline so now we just let those that will run step up and do it. Still few ever volunteer.
