Breed Popularity
« on: May 05, 2023, 08:30:51 PM »
I received my APA News and Views, the quarterly newsletter, in the mail today.   On page 22, all the breeds are shown along with the number exhibited at APA Meets in 2022.  In 2021, Amerauana large fowl ranked 2nd only to LF Cochins.  In 2022, Amerauana LF was the number one bird shown with 787 entries.   Second place went to SC Leghorns with 703 entries.   In the bantams, Ameraucanas ranked more in the middle of the pack with 428 entries.  Actually in the top half though.   Have we come a long way or what?

Taking a cue from my Facebook post, member Stephanie Sandgren created the following image.   I kinda like it!

Kudos to you Mike!

Thanks Stan, but as I have said many times, the success is due to a group effort involving a lot of good people.
