Hello everyone i just want to share that an Ameraucana Alliance club meet has been placed at the DFFC Fall show October 7&8 2023. This is a 2 day double show and will be held at the Darke County Fairgrounds in Greeneville Ohio. Amanda Heitzman is the show secretary and you can reach her at Amandaheitzman@hotmail.com if you have questions. The show catalog will be available on poultry show central, with printable entry slips. This will be a big show with a great turnout of Alliance members and lots of Ameraucana. So even if you dont show come on out and fellowship with us, you will have a blast i guarantee.

I was hoping to post the results of the show but between my hectic work schedule and the fowl fest show this weekend I have not had the time. I will post the top winners now though.

There were 68 Bantam entered and 60 large fowl in the open show I believe? With over 1,700 entries total and 124 in the AOCCL class. I wish I had my report in front of me but unfortunately I do not. I want to also give a big shout out to our junior member Gavin Bailey. His Blue Wheaten K not only won CH AOCCL in the Junior green card but it went on to win Ch Bantam and Supreme Grand Champion of the show in the green card as well. Unfortunately my phone died at the show so I don’t have many photos. I will post what I have though and hopefully Janie might have some or another member?
