After a nice dinner at Dino's Restaurant Saturday evening, we all adjourned to a meeting room downstairs where we held the annual member meeting and awards ceremony. Since President Beth Curran was unable to attend, John Blehm conducted the meeting. Minutes will be reported in the newsletter. Here is a group photo of the members who attended the meeting. There were other members showing who somehow did not get the word about the dinner and meeting so did not attend.

John distributed the cash awards to the winners who were present at the meeting. Here is Max Strawn receiving his Best AOV award on that Splash LF pullet. Max had a couple of really nice Blue pullets that accidentally were cooped in cockerel cages, so did not get judged. That was a real shame, especially after he and his wife traveled all the way from Texas for this event.
-
Bob Walchak received the special 40th Anniversary plaque for his Silver bantam pullet.
-
Russ Blair, as usual, won way more than his share of awards.
-
Jeff Sonsalla, and his son Jacob were there winning a nice share of the awards.
-
Bob and Sandy Rennolet came from South Dakota and I believe had the largest number of entries. I did not get good photos of their BV and RV large fowl Whites.
-
Jim Fegan had top large fowl Display of the entire show on Blacks, while his daughter Jen had the best large fowl Lavenders.
-
Newer member and talented artist Scott Lepak receiving his award on RV Large Fowl Blue.
-
Here is Marina Blair receiving the annual Lifetime Achievement award on behalf of Neil and Donna Townsend, who were unable to attend due to health related issues. Congrats to Neil and Donna, who have sold their farm and moved to a nice apartment. Well deserved award.
-
Anne and Scott Lepak judged the bantam eggs. Thanks for your hard work! Also thanks to Dave Blair for manning the club table for most of the day! Everyone pitches in to help in whatever way they can. That's what makes for a great breed club!

This bird, I believe was Reserve AOSB in the Junior portion of the show. Shown by new Alliance member Kaitlyn Brooks of Wisconsin. I thought he was about as good as any Ameraucana in the show, open or junior.
-
And this Blue Wheaten pullet took Champion AOCCL in the Junior portion of the show. Shown by Rowley Dunn of Mauston, Wisconsin. That is an Alliance rosette hanging on her cage.

Thanks Mike for all the pictures awesome job and definitely a great turnout. I truly enjoyed meeting my old and new friends. I am already planning my breeding pens for next year. I will be a serious contender next year ;)

Russ, I'm not sure I read that right. You have ALWAYS been a serious contender. So glad you joined this group.
