Which is why I use a big fish net.

Haha - I second the fish net! Or child that's fast and low to the ground.  ;D

That is so true. Fish net here also and an occasional over excited child also. Chickens just don't have the stamina to out run the endless energy of a child. But then again who does right.

LoL, cute

I also use good, old fashioned bribery, aka the treat bucket.  Then swoop and grab!  :P

I don't swoop too well, but the city boy I married is getting surprisingly good at it! ;D

LoL Beth. I married a city boy as well. Not much city left in him these days though... ;)

Yep, after 19 years he's pretty well resigned himself to this lifestyle, especially since Fuzz has gotten into birds!

I have tried the net several times.  Some get wise to it.  I have one rooster that was so good with it, I caught him and he rebounded out..the ultimate kick save and a beauty.
