I just want to wish everyone that is planning on attending this show and AA meet safe travels. God willing Uncle Dave and I will be making the trip together. Normally I would try to make plans for AA members to meet up for dinner on Saturday but I was invited by Bill Wulff to come see his set up on Saturday after the show. For some odd reason he wants me to go through Sams large Fowl blues even though I have yet to beat her at a show lol. If I hadn’t lost my original line in 2020 perhaps things would be different right now but thanks to good friends like Max and Stan I am getting another line dialed in. Perhaps this will be the show I can redeem myself, I might just have a blue hen to keep the large Fowl breeders honest  ;). I plan on leaving Friday afternoon shortly after I attend funerals for two dear friends from church so if anyone wants to try and get together Friday evening to grab a bite to eat let me know. If all goes well Uncle and I will be pulling in around 5pm which really means 5:30-6pm Blair time  ;D

Ameraucana Marketplace / ISO Large Fowl Buff hatching eggs (shipped)
« Last post by Sarah Bonner on March 31, 2024, 10:02:39 PM »
I am interested in getting 2-3 dozen LF buff hatching eggs to try and get started with this variety.

I live far, far away from most of the poultry shows (Louisiana) so am dependent on getting these shipped.  Please let me know if you can oblige!

I was not planning on attending Shawnee but if it’s needed just let me know. God has blessed me abundantly and I might be able to make the trip. Unfortunately the two cock birds I have suffered some frostbite so they will not be able to show but I do have some hens and I am getting plenty of fertile eggs now so I can help with pullets and cockerels as well.

After a lot of hard work, we are down to the final APA qualifying show for self blue bantam Ameraucana in Oklahoma in December! A lot of our big breeders are in the east, so we are issuing a call out to those who attend Shawnee - we need more breeders for the show! We have breeders willing to help out with eggs, or if you can get to Green Grables in NC or Norsk Mountain Farm in Virginia, we have some cocks, hens, and juveniles who could go. The more the merrier!

First off, Thank you Michael for volunteering to head this up. I will take an ad in one or both of the yearbooks as needed to fill them up. Just a reminder to everyone, the deadline to submit them are May 1, 2024, I know Michael put his deadline as April 15 but the sooner the better, it would help in allowing the time for formatting the ads. Here is the Ad cost just Incase someone might want a larger one, or see how the sizes look formatted on a page.
