Dear Central Indiana Open Poultry Show Exhibitor,
Attached are the entry forms and show catalog for the 2016 Central Indiana Poultry Show.  Always the 3rd Saturday in October; this year's show is Saturday, October 15, 2016.

We are proud to host the 2016 National Meet of the Ameraucana Alliance and the Chantecler Fanciers International USA National Meet.  It will also be the District Meet for the Plymouth Rock Fanciers.

Thanks again for exhibiting with us last year and we hope you can participate again this fall.

Just filled out my entry form, nothing like waiting to the last minute  . Not sure what shape they will be in I have been extremely busy. So they have not received the attention they normally would. Somehow I managed to enter 21 so hopefully the bathing process brings out there best lol. Remember folks entries need to be post marked by tomorrow. Hope to see some new, and looking forward to seeing the old faces (meaning previously met, not age). Hope for good weather and safe travels to all.

We'll have a pizza & subs dinner in the breakfast room at the Comfort Inn on Saturday, starting at 6pm, immediately followed by our annual club meeting at 7pm.  Let Michael know of anything you think should be added under "new business" to our meeting agenda.  Last year we had to be out of the meeting room and have it cleaned up by 8pm, but I believe they will be more lax this year with an end time.  The hotel will provide free coffee and we'll have bottled water available, but please feel free to bring your own non alcoholic (hotel rule) drinks.
There will be a variety of pizza & subs to choose from, buffet style, with a suggested price of $10 per person 12 and over and $5 for kids under 12.  Please pay there.  If there is any leftover money it will go to the club.  We need to know how many are coming so enough food is purchased, so please post here or email me with your reservations by Thursday, the 13th or see me at the show by noon, Saturday the 15th...at the latest, so orders can be placed.
Chantecler Fanciers International is also holding their national meet in Lebanon and our clubs share several of the same members, so they are also invited to join us for pizza & subs.  If the meeting room gets a bit too crowded there may be overflow areas into our hotel rooms as needed.
Some of us will also get together Friday evening at 6pm for supper at Parky's Smokehouse.  Please post here or email me with your reservations by Thursday, the 13th.

October 14, 15 & 16, 2016

Friday:
2pm – 10pm, early coop in at Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds,
1300 E 100 S, Lebanon, IN 46052. 
6pm, Supper at Parky’s Smokehouse, 2479 N Lebanon St., Lebanon
(please make reservations with John)

Saturday:
6:30am – 9am, coop in, with judging starting at 9am.
9:30am, Ameraucana Egg Judging Contest at club table.
10am, Youth Showmanship starts. 
10:30am, Ameraucana Q&A seminar outdoors, weather permitting, or in Centennial Hall (the Jr. Show Blg…noisy).
11:30pm, Maybe a good time to grab lunch.
2pm, Our club’s silent auction ends.
2pm, Show club’s silent auction ends.
?, Coop out after the birds are released or wait till Sunday morning.
6pm, Supper at Comfort Inn, 210 Sam Ralston Rd, Lebanon

7pm, Annual Club Meeting with awards presented, at Comfort Inn.

Junior show - 14  (10 large fowl, 4 bantams.
Overall 209 Ameraucanas; so we will give you $300. cash to spend as you wish on your awards.  Please let us know how you want that broken down in terms of $20.'s, $10's and $5.'s

Open Show Varieties
Large Fowl Varieties- 43 Black, 11 Blue, 1 Blue Silver, 3 Blue Wheaten, 5 Brown Red, 5 Buff, 10 Lavender, 7, Silver, 1 Splash, 5 Wheaten, 20 White = 111 large fowl; includes 9 young trios.
Bantam Varieties - 25 Black, 7 Blue, 12 Blue Wheaten, 4 Brown Red, 1 Buff, 12 Lavender, 3 Silver, 3 Splash, 2 Splash Wheaten, 13 Wheaten, 2 White = 84 bantams; includes 15 young trios.
