Title: Lebanon Valley Poultry Fanciers Show Oct 13th
Post by: Samantha Voges on June 27, 2018, 04:50:14 PM: Hi everyone. Iâ€™m just wondering if anyone is planning on attending the Lebanon Valley Poultry Fanciers Show this Oct!? I went to the York Show last month and saw that there were a couple Ameraucanas there. I had the opportunity to meet One of our members while I was there and I was told that the Lebanon Show is much larger than York was and am hoping to meet some other local members while Iâ€™m there. Iâ€™ve also inquired with Mike about whether it could be considered for a meet but we need a couple members who are planning on attending!

I don't know where that thread is, but I do know the sponsoring Club, so I've sent a letter to their president to help out. I'll let you know with Keith, a real stand up guy, answers.

Post by: Suki on June 27, 2018, 06:24:57 PM: Also, I didn't think of it at the time, but I probably could enter and Harry Shaffer bring the birds down for me as he is halfway, so yes at least the birds will be there. I believe Sarah Meaders is close enough to get there too.

Post by: Suki on June 28, 2018, 12:19:04 PM: We should be able to have a meet as Keith -- who cannot judge the meet as he is booked --- verified that there are 5 other Ameraucana breeders who routinely show up there -- two are Lebanon Valley Club members. He is also asking Club members to help out. I've already told Mike, so we look good.

Post by: Samantha Voges on June 28, 2018, 12:30:23 PM: Iâ€™ve heard from the ABC that they have approved my meet request so it will be an ABC meet as well. I think if both Clubs are having a meet there then there should be a nice turnout

I guess I was waiting for a follow-up, and then as time went by I forgot about it. Mr. Lutz has been contacted about a meet, and I'm waiting to hear back from him. HOWEVER, I will be out of state on vacation and away from my computer from August 20-28. I only use a desktop, and don't have a laptop to take along.
