Title: 2022 ABA and APA yearbook ads
Post by: Rebecca G Howie on April 15, 2022, 11:55:29 PM
                        2022 ABA and APA YEARBOOK

          ***edit*** The deadline has been set for May 8, 2022 to send John the ad information/image and a payment to Jeff Sonsalla (Treasurer). His address is in the Newsletters

Each year the ABA and the APA publishes a Yearbook filled with educational articles, show results, ads and show results over the previous year. The Ameraucana Alliance has historically supported both poultry associations and will place at least a one page color ad in each of the 2022 Yearbooks.

We invite Ameraucana Alliance members to participate in the yearbooks ads. You can place your ad individually or “buy into” the color club page space (ABA $30 each space, APA $37.50 each space). John Blehm has agreed to design our club page and member ads. He can incorporate up to six 1 7/8 high by 2 3/16” wide individual ad spaces per page. You can buy more than one space.

The camera ready ads need to be submitted by May 15th to the ABA and the APA. John will need time to design, layout and proof the individual ads and the page. Please contact him ASAP to provide images and text for your ad.

You can email John through the forum as well as Post here

Thank you Becky.
John, put me down for the same ad(s) I had last year - except you can add one year.

There is still time to place an ad in the ABA $30 each space, APA $37.50 each space Yearbook. You can do either or both.

John Blehm is doing the graphic design.

Jeff Sonsalla will take the payment for ads.

Do we mail the payment to Jeff or can we send electronically somehow?

How about an update?   Where are we at with regard to individual ads for each organization.    I know the ABA deadline for submission is May 15th - not sure about the APA.  And John will need time to work up the ads.   The deadline is fast approaching.

I would take one of ea if the club needs to fill the spots. I can PayPal the funds tonight if needed and John could use the same add as before for me if he likes

Here is what we have…
ABA = Tipton 1, Gilbert 1, Blair 1, Blehm 1
APA = Helms 1, Tipton 1, Gilbert 1, Melton 4, Blair 1, Blehm 1
Deadline is May 8th to have ad info to me by and that will give me a week to do the graphic design and have you all proof your ads before submitting them for the yearbooks.
Pay Jeff.

We have an odd number of APA ad spaces bought so far, so it would be nice to have one more member buy one to even them out across the page.

Count me in for the APA to make an even number. Use the last one that was in the ABA ad.

Thank you. Even though Sunday is the deadline, I assume those that wanted an ad probably have spoke up by now.

Yes, I agree. I think this year's ABA and APA yearbook ads are a go with what we have now.

Thanks for your work and time on this project John.  They look real good.  I'm a little disappointed that with our membership total that more would not help support the ABA.   The ABA has always been a very well run organization in my opinion, and I've been a member since the 1970's.
