Happy Birthday!

February 24th 2024, marks the 70th birthday of my good friend John Blehm.   There is no person alive who has done more for the development and promotion of the Ameraucana breed, both LF and bantams.   Because he does not go on FB for reasons of principle, I want to wish him the best of birthdays here.   Many of you are unaware of the serious health issues John has been dealing with for many years, and yet I've never heard him complain.   John is a stand-up guy and I'm proud to call him friend.  Mary and I were privileged to attend John and Kathy's 30th wedding anniversary/renewal of vows over 20 years ago.   Here is a photo in remembrance of that event.  Didn't they make a cute couple, even after 30 years?
