Hello friends, I have some doubts regarding the gene resulting from some crosses.
I would like to understand better
-------------------------------------------------- --
1. Lavender x Black = Splits.
What exactly is splits?
Lavender = Which dominant gene?
Splits = Which gene is dominant?
--------------------------------------------------
2. Black x Splits = 50% Splits / 50% Black
Splits = Which gene is dominant?
Black = Which dominant gene?
I understand that this cross would not be suitable, but the *creation of lavender is the result of which colors?*
-----------------------------------
3. Black x Blue = 50% Blue/50% Black
Blue = Which dominant gene?
Black = Which dominant gene?
--------------------------------------------------
4. Blue x Blue = 50% Blue - 25% Black - 25% Splash
Blue = Which dominant gene?
Black = Which dominant gene?
Splash = Which dominant gene?
---------------------------------------
Thank you always for the contribution of each of you

Lavender (self blue) is recessive and is not related to blue at all.
Split is a bird carrying 1 recessive gene which doesn't express.
1 All offspring will be black phenotype.
2 All parents and offspring will be black phenotype. 50% carry 1 lavender gene but you cannot tell which ones.
3 50% black and 50% blue phenotype. Blue is a gene that dilutes black. All chicks that get blue gene will be blue.
4 25% of offspring get no blue gene, black phenotype.
50% of offspring get 1 blue gene, blue phenotype.
25% of offspring get 2 blue dilution genes, splash phenotype.
