Title: Nominations for elected officers

As you read in my Presidents Report, in the Newsletter, this is an election year. I need to receive all nominations by October 1, 2024, in order to be included on this year's ballot. I am attaching a link to our constitution and the by-laws dictating the requirements to be eligible:

Reminder, I need any and all nominations for our elected officer positions by October 1.

It was announced at our annual meeting, on Saturday, that Rachel Dunn, Mike Gilbert and I (John W Blehm) are candidates for Club Director.  ;)

As of now it looks like Rebecca Howie and I (Russ Blair) are nominated for President with Mike Gilbert, John Blehm, Rachel Dunn, Scott Lepak and Michael Muenks nominated for Director positions  8)

Thanks for the update Russ.   The deadline for nominations is today, so there is still time to throw a hat in the ring.  The more competition the better in my opinion.

The Ballot for the 2024 Ameraucana Alliance elected officers is complete and will be going out tomorrow in the mail, if you receive a mailed newsletter. If you receive your newsletter electronically through an email that is how your ballot will arrive. I attached a PDF copy of the Ballot just in case anyone might need it. Remember you can only cast one ballot and one vote for President. Per our constitution and its bylaws, we can elect 2 to 6 directors, so only vote for up to 6 directors including any write ins. Per article 6 all ballots need to be received by the election commissioner by November 1, 2024.
