The Fowl Fest (http://www.fowlfest.org/index.html) is October 11th and 12th, at the Saginaw Country Fairgrounds in Chesaning, Michigan. I thought Russ had requested a Club Meet at this show, but it looks like we both forgot to this year. This isn't the biggest show in North America...just the best, so whether of not it is an Ameraucana meet we'll have Ameraucanas entered and have a great time!
The show catalog and entry form can be viewed and downloaded from the Fowl Fest site (http://www.fowlfest.org/index.html). Entries must be received by Monday, September 29th.
Fowl Fest really is one of the BEST shows out there! We will make our annual pilgrimage up there in 2026. I just couldn't squish it in this year between other commitments and treatment schedule.. but NEXT YEAR its going on the schedule first LOL We really enjoyed it in previous years
We'll coop out in the morning and post a few results and a few more photos later. I heard there were over a thousand entries and the place had many more people walking around than last year. The fall weather in mid-Michigan is great, no show coops are double stacked, the aisles are about 6' wide, the lighting is great...well it just doesn't get much better than this.
There were 26 bantams entered between Matt Boensch, Russ Blair and John Blehm (me). Heather Wirwicki entered the only two LF and had Champion AOSB on a Blue K, in both the white card and green card shows. :)
