We have 1,060 entries for our Coulee Region Poultry Show to be held this Saturday, June 6th. Sorry, I don't have the numbers for our Ameraucana Club Meet as yet. The Rennolets, the Muenks, and the Russ Blairs will be lodging at our house, so it should be a lot of fun. If you didn't enter, come anyway and experience western Wisconsin in June!
The numbers are in: We have 74 bantam Ameraucana entered and 46 large fowl. So, a total of 120 Ameraucana are entered in the show. It should be a very successful and meaningful Alliance Meet with that many entries and many exhibitors. Wisconsin has pretty much always been very supporting of the breed. Set up is today (Wednesday), and a good crew showed up to help. We have 98 total exhibitors this year.
These are most of the Alliance members who attended and/or showed at the CRPC Meet on June 6, 2026. How many faces can you associate with their names? Congrats to Rachel Dunn and Daniel Cook whose birds went to Champion Row! Sorry, but I did not get good photos of their winning birds. But this is what a successful and meaningful Club Meet looks like in my opinion. Mary and I hosted Russ and Nicole Blair, Bob and Sandy Rennolet, and Michael and Anastasia Muenks Friday and Saturday. All three couples headed for home Sunday morning. We enjoyed having them again!
Looks like a great time! Thanks for sharing Mike.
Mike, Nicole and I would like to say thank you for Mary and your hospitality. I agree with you 100% about this is what makes an Ameraucana Alliance meet successful and meaningful. The fellowshipping and camaraderie that was had by all is what I truly needed. It was great talking to old friends and finally getting to talk to some new ones. CRPC puts on a well ran show and the poultry community of Wisconsin is some of the nicest folks I have met. Congratulations to Rachel and Jerry DeSmidt for the BB and RB placing in the bantam class. Congratulations to Jerry and Daniel Cook on their BB and RB in the large fowl class. There were some nice Ameraucana on exhibit.
