Each year someone asks me "Are we doing a club ad for the APA". Even though the Alliance is a dues paying associate member of the APA they don't notify us, so I have to check to see if and what they are doing as far as a yearbook. They have a link on their site with the Yearbook info (http://amerpoultryassn.com/PDF%20Forms/APA%20media%20kit%20Final%20proof%202018.pdf).
Of couse you may buy your own ads, but historically we offer Alliance members to join together in buying a "club" page or more. Last year 3 members joined together to get a black and white club page.
The cost is $20/per 1/8 page ad space for black and white and $37.50/per space for color as I read their info. May 1st is the submission deadline and they have a couple volunteers that will work with you to design your ad if wanted. I'll need to know if you are participating. Once we have enough to fill a page (B&W or color) you can pay the Alliance (we then pay the APA) and we can see if there is enough interest in another page or more.
I guess we are doing b&w again? If so, I'll put something in.
Depending on the participation we can do B&W and/or color pages...just specify.
Debbie Hogan will take one ad space. I told the facebook crew that April 15th was the deadline.
With Sue, Debbie and me that makes 3 out of six needed...if we all take single ads. The only limit is 6 per page. I'll do a color page if the other want too also.

I think Russ will join -- he typically does. If not and we go b&w we can take two a piece and that would be about the same as one colour one. Debbie would go along with that. As for Dave's comment, I agree, that usually is business sop, but at least they realize their error and are correcting it going forward.
If you end up needing just one space to fill up a page, then put me down. But not if somebody else wants the space.
I can take a space or two just let me know, either color or BW
I am willing to take up to a half page color add if needed, or as little as one as well ;)
I'll take one in colour or if need two in b/w. I am not doing anything for the ABA.

Thanks Russ, Sue, Mike and Debbie!
I think it's great that Russ has Uncle Dave in his ad. That's sweet.
John did another fantastic job with the adds this year, thanks Sue for the kind words and John for the awesome add
You're more than welcome Russell. And I agree, John did a bang up job with the ads. I did rather miss not seeing FowlStuff though.

And he followed thru! It came in the mail today addressed to the "Ameraucana Alliance". :)
Glad to hear this John, I am optimistic that the APA is heading in the right direction. As with any club, it takes members willing to help in order to make it a success.
Awesome! Glad to hear they followed through!
I've lost total respect for that organization after all the mistakes in this Yearbook. Even the articles were garbage. I will not be reupping next year.
