2025 APA and ABA Yearbook Ads

I would like to announce that the board of directors has agreed to keep with the long-time tradition of supporting the APA and ABA by submitting a Club Ad into each Yearbook. Both associations offer a club page advertisement consisting of a small top page ad for the club along with six individual ad spaces that members can purchase.

The individual color ad space size for both organizations’ yearbooks is 2.1875 inches wide by 1.875 inches high. The cost of the APA individual ad is $37.50 USD, and the cost of the ABA individual ad is $40.00 USD. I have included pictures of the two that were sent in last year.

If you are interested, please email me at slicktree@hotmail.com with your completed ad design or with a picture, wording and some general idea how you would like your ad design to look. If any of our members with graphic design experience would like to volunteer to help design the ad that would be welcomed and appreciated as well. The deadline to sumbit them is May 15, 2025 so all the ad information shoul dbe submitted to me by May 1, 2025, please.

I clicked on the APA link.  I don't see a full page club ad in color priced out?   A club page in B & W is only $120, or $20 each for the six individual ads plus a header.
The ABA doesn't seem to give a choice.  Color only for the 6 individual ads at $40 each.

Mike, Here is a quote regarding the pricing from a couple years ago...

For the past several years the Alliance has taken out a full page color ad in both the ABA and APA Yearbooks. The offer is made to our members to buy individual ads within these full page ads, but the board of directors has voted to buy the full page ads whether members participate or not. This way the full page color ads are not hinged on having 6 member ads, so the price is still $37.50 for each individual ad space. The Alliance treasury has been in good shape and can afford the two full page ads each year. By doing it this way there is no pressure on members to buy ads.

The listed price is $225 for an APA full page color ad. Even though it isn't listed as a "club" ad we just divided the cost by six. I had corresponded with the APA secretary several years ago and he was fine us doing it this way, since the Alliance is buying the full page.
Actually, since the ABA full page color ad is also $225 and the Alliance, not individuals, is buying the full page the same pricing should be used. The ABA has their "Collective Page" of six ads for $240, but they are not having to deal with individual ads the way we do it...the Alliance sends a ready to print ad and one payment. That is the way we did it before.

Thanks Laurie that gives us 3 ads for each yearbook. We just need 3 more and I know if I make 1 phone call we will most like only need 2 more

I just received an email from one of our members asking to have an ad in each yearbook. So we have four of the needed 6 ads as of now.

Keep in mind that we don't need 6 ads, since the Alliance is buying a full page ad in each yearbook regardless of participation from our members. I just don't want members to feel pressured to buy ads or somehow feel the club is in need of financial assistance on this.
