The ABA has secured the rights to republish Ralph Sturgeon’s book, Start Where You Are With What You Have.

It is only $10.  This is the booklet that Mike, Michael, I and others have quoted from and recommended many times over the years.  It doesn't mention Amerucana chickens, but it is an outline for a common sense, practical approach to breeding, without getting deep into genetics.

Mine finally came yesterday. This book is so good! It makes me want to go back and redo my breeding so  did this year. I have so many good ideas for the next season of hatches now!
