BV bantam Wheaten cockerel
« on: October 28, 2022, 02:58:19 PM »
Here are a couple photos taken today of the bantam Wheaten cockerel that placed BV at our National Meet at John's place in October.   He still has some finishing out to do.  A big thanks to Bob and Sandy Rennolet for hauling and showing him for me.  And thanks to Phil Bartz for placing him.   He's not quite the shade of color I'm after, but it's getting close.

Nice bird Mike.  So do you want him darker or lighter?

Just a better shade of orange (like O.E. Game Wheaten) and without that slight black ticking in the hackle.   Also a little deeper in front.  Getting closer to the ideal.
