Meet Results of the 2022 Virginia Poultry Breeders Assoc. Double Card Fall Show

This one day, double card show was held on Saturday November 19, 2022 in Ruther Glen Virginia.  We had 4 open and 1 Junior exhibitors show a total of 47 (40 LF and 7 bantams) Ameraucana in 7 recognized varieties (Black, Blue, Brown Red, Buff. Self Blue, Silver and White) plus 3 project colors (chocolate, mottled and ermine).  The show boasted over 700 birds with the AOSB class being one of the largest represented.

This was a good show with lovely Ameraucana on display.  My self blue Hen Loretta was hard to beat on this day as she was in prime show form.  Had a great time with members Janie Vila, Megan Abel and Shem Abel.   Attached are a few photos of the winners.   Enjoy.

I did show two males.   Harley and Ducati.   Harley had not finished growing in his tail and Ducati was still molting in his head and neck feathers.
