In my area, Cesar, the locals are actually chains and have no control where their chicks come from. For example, in PA, Tractor Supply, gets their chicks mainly from Mt Healthy

Agway, the only other supplier of retail chicks get them from the MidWest -- Iowa -- and I must admit their chicks are always in poor health. I think that's wholly attributed to travel time and weather. I don't know of other feed stores that sell chicks here. I guess out in AZ, retail chicks are more plentiful.
