Is anyone else already grooming their birds? I already have my transport boxes down cleaning them. I have to bath so many birds......

201 entries - not a bad number of entries at all!   Do we have a number on how many exhibitors?    I will bathe my birds on Wednesday, box them up Thursday evening, and head out early Friday morning.   We will be traveling with the Rennolets of South Dakota, who will be overnight at our place Thursday night.  And we will be bringing a couple of birds for Jeff Sonsalla who can't make it because his son plays football in high school, and he never misses a game.

I'm flying in, so no birds, but wonder if I'm allowed to bring eggs on a plane??

I just reminded Kathy today to remind me to start collecting eggs for the contest.

I'm not into grooming birds for show, other than washing any excessive stuff off their feet.  I have had most of the birds I planned to show in individual coops for over a month now to try to calm them a bit, keep them in decent feather condition and fairly clean.

Just finished the last of my chickens in full procrastinating fashion lol. 41 is way to many for me I found out. On the good note, it seems I have a few gems that were hiding under the dusty feathers. So heed my warning now there will be some impressive Black bantams and a blue bantam pullet you better keep an eye on  8). Who knows I may even have a Blue Silver Cockerel LF to make the AOV class a little tough  ;)
