Congratualtions Mehmet Özgen!

January 9 - 12 were the dates for a big poultry show in Turkey.  I don't have the details, but Alliance member Mehmet Özgen figured there would be about 100 Ameraucanas competing with 4 varieties represented.  Mehmet is also the president of the Ameraucana Club of Turkey.  Our board of directors authorized a plaque be made and presented to Mehmet in recognition of all he has done to promote Ameraucanas in Europe.  The presentation was made by Peter Zuffa, of Slovakia.  Peter sits on the EU council that recognized Ameraucanas and was at the show to judge the national Ameraucana meet in Turkey.
