It reminds me of a beautiful large fowl black Ameraucana cockerel I saved to breed from this year.  He became aggressive as he matured and was sold as a butcher bird a few weeks ago.  The second string cockerel that is now used for breeding lacks a lot in size compared to the aggressive one, but personality is more important.

I absolutely agree. That is second in my culling criteria right behind health and vigor. I enjoy spending time in my coop and it would not be enjoyable if I had roosters attacking me or flighty hens flying around screeching.
