Ok I had a number of meet requests submitted well in advance, to ensure timely publication for the March 1 newsletter.  But I noticed today the meet requests page is "not found".  I also need to know where to submit show reports now, as I have no contact information for the new meets director

Mindy unfortunately Michael, or any other elected officer including myself, does not wield the power to just skirt around our meet policy. Which clearly states

 “Club meets may be placed by the Director in charge of meets when a member requests a meet for a specific show he/she plans to exhibit Ameraucana at, in time for the meet to be publicized in the quarterly Ameraucana Newsletter prior to the show's entry deadline.”

Our Ameraucana Alliance and its elected officers are governed by our Constitution, By Laws and the four current policies that are in place. As the elected President it is my job to insure that these guidelines are strictly followed. I will email Emmet tonight and let him know that this meet request fails to meet our current meet policy so it can not be sanctioned by our Ameraucana Alliance and will not qualify for our awards or points. Remember not all of our members receive email newsletters, some receive hard copies delivered through the post office. I am sorry for any misunderstanding but you served two terms as a director and are well aware of our position on this.

It was not missed.

Michael Meunks accepted the request and sent the club information through to Emmett in December, cc Scott. Our meet info will be in their catalog coming out soon. I was ensured that the entry deadline is going to be set for after our March Newsletter is published (as long as it gets sent out on time). Michael said it shouldn't be a problem, as it follows the policy.

We have at least 3 club members already planning to attend and I'm hoping for more. I've been promoting the show in local groups. Should be a great show!

John this meet request was just sent in and approved, Scott Lepak has been busy sending in several meet request. Unfortunately some of them didn’t meet the requirements of our meet policy, “being published in our newsletter before the entry deadline”, so Scott couldn’t place the request. This one does meet the requirements and was accepted by the club superintendent.

I believe this one was requested by Michael Muenks and it was approved by our new director in charge of meets, Scott Lepak.   Our CRPC show secretary, Jim Laatsch has been notified, received all the necessary forms, logos, and printed material from Scott and he accepted the request.  This is a single judged show, in and out the same day.  Judges will be Gary Rossman, Brian Gates, and Zeb Skow.  I will personally offer special awards for the Ameraucana winners.  There is camping available on the fairgrounds, but motels if needed are located in neighboring towns.  I hope to see many of you there!

I've seen another post like this by you about club meets. I don't see these on our list of Alliance sanctioned meets, linked to our website, and wonder if you are trying to request meets by posting information about shows here. If you want to request a meet(s) please follow the procedure outlined under this topic: Club Meets and How to Request one.
Maybe you have requested the meet from the director and he hasn't had time to add it to the list yet, or hasn't received confirmation from the show secretary/superintendent.
