Never tried.   Have you checked with the airlines?

I've wondered about that, too. Flying would be a lot easier, and I know you can travel with pets, but assumed it would be cost prohibitive for poultry, if they allowed it at all, given state regulations. "You can't land that plane in Philly, you had a NC chicken on it yesterday!"
