Wet tail
« on: November 09, 2016, 05:56:40 PM »
I have a friend in Illinois that is suffering from "wet tail".  She has no lice or worms, so I was wondering what else causes that?

Thanks.

Well I read a lot about it, but I've never had it, so I don't know if it's the adult version of Pasty Buff.

So I recommended to my friend LoriLee  that she should get  a hold of Agrimycin -- broad-spectrum antibiotic oxytetracycline  --  and use that in the water for 7 days along with a good shampoo, I really couldn't come with anything else.  She only has 6 hens for eggs and she got these from a "breeder" who recommended vinegar in the water, that didn't btw, work.
