Large Fowl buff

Previous topic - Next topic

Elijah Ensor

Currently looking for anyone who may have a large buff cockerel or rooster that would be available to ship to PA?  Also open to a buff bantams to work on breeding LF buffs.  I have 20 some buffs, but haven't gotten any young ones out, and the males fertility isn't there.  Hens lay ok, so I should be able to hatch some if I can get my hands on some young fertile males.  Ive also spoken to Mike, and he recommends me to use a Wheaten, which I am willing to do, but wanted to see if I could get any Buffs first.

Thanks.

I know I'm way late on this so not sure if you're still looking, but Nicole Rhodes (LV Poultry) has buff Ameraucanas, you can find her on facebook.  Not sure if she has any available, but she is in PA.

Thanks for the referral, I've been hatching already.

Elijah, are you selling eggs or chicks???  Having a tough time finding buff this year!

Elijah Ensor

Hi Dawn, they're wrapping up laying for the season, and I'm wrapping up hatches.   I have enough out to cull through at look at for keepers later in the season.    With that being said I should have some young hens next year that I'll be able to offer eggs from.    Unfortunately there isn't many with quality buffs anymore and they're very few and far between.
