Good morning, here is a list of donated birds for our silent auction. I will try to update this as they come in. If you are attending and would like to make a donation just let Brian Bailey or myself know. I would like to give Amanda a heads up on how many cages we will need, thanks.

Hello All!

Quick question on the silent auction...is the intention to sale only birds? I am trying to finish up a few chicken related craft items and if I can finish them in time, I would be happy to donate some of them for the auction.

As I recall we've had items other than chickens in these fund raising silent auctions in the past.

Very good!   Thanks to all the donors and thanks to all the winning bidders!     Are the funds designated for a special purpose, or does it go into the general fund?

The National Show committee members agreed to pay for a full page ad in the poultry press, then donate the remaining funds into the club treasury. The full page ad will be $365 and I just got off the phone with John Blehm and he has graciously agreed to do the layout. With an October 10 deadline to submit it so it appears in the same issue as the show I am grateful for the help.

Poultry Press has been good to us over the years.   I see they put Scott Lepak's article on the front page of the October issue.  I thought Scott did a great job.  He does not say much, but he is very articulate and intelligent.

Mike you are absolutely correct, his article was amazing and I just saw it today. It took me a couple tries to find it. I don't ever remember having one of our articles published on the front page until this one. Bill Wulff and the poultry press does a lot of good for the poultry community and have always been very fair to our Alliance.

Thanks for formatting the ad for us John, as usual it looks great. I would also like to thank everyone that donated to our silent auction or placed bids on any of the items. I should also thank Bruno and Brian for serving on this year's National Meet committee and agreeing to use some of the funds raised to publish this wonderful club ad. We truly have the best breed specific club out here, hands down
