Mike Gilbert is donating $50 and I've noted the awards it will cover on this updated list.

Russ Blair donated $100 for specific cash prizes and here is the updated list of awards.

Mike Gilbert

May I suggest, if we receive any other donations, we offer something for trios and displays?

We can, but very few show trios and displays.  The cash prizes you offered for them last year that weren't awarded should be carried over this year, in your name, by the ABC.

Mike Gilbert

Yes, true, but I don't know why that is.   Anybody can get lucky and win with a single bird.   It takes an accomplished breeder to put down matching trios and full displays.    Not to mention the extra conditioning issues with the older birds in displays.

This just in from Doug Akers...

QuoteJohn,
For having your National with us:
if 100 or more Ameraucanas are exhibited, we will give your club $200. to use for award money as you wish.
if 200 or more .....$300.

Was there anything if we end up showing less than 100 birds?   Looks like we better go heavy on the entries this time.

No.  This was a last minute deal, after shows were cancelled and Indiana opened back up.  We were fortunate to be able to place our meet and be welcomed as we are.  The $ is gravy on top.

I have plenty of good prospects. If I can find/build enough conditioning cages I will be bring a truck full 😃

That's where I'm at, not enough cages to get them looking like they should, but I'll bring as many as I can. I'm renting a car, so if anyone wants to rideshare I can go up in size - Michelle? Renee?

Do birds entered in the junior show count towards our number?  We will bring as many as we can...

I have to assume all "exhibited" count.

Beth Curran has donated $30 and we'll use it to upgrade from a certificate for Best eggs in a couple categories to 4" diameter Corian coasters.  The coasters are $12 each and that leave $6 that'll be used toward cash awards.

I received a check in the mail today, from Harold Knapp, for $50 to "use it wherever needed".  What a guy!  I've applied $24 to the two unsponsored Egg Contest Coasters and the remaining $26 can be designated for something or used to help cover the cash awards.

He won't be able to make it to the show and said "I will miss seeing many old, and new friends, which has always been a very enjoyable time for me".
