Please help...ISO bantam wheatens

Previous topic - Next topic

The Malcolms

Hello all,
We need some help.  Last night we lost our 2 remaining bantam wheaten hens.  (It couldn't have been the 5 wheaten cocks...😜). The boys have several nice cocks and were late breeding this year so we have no replacements.  We plan on being in Indiana in October so if anyone could spare 2 or 3 bantam wheaten females we would be very greatful.  Thanks for your time...

Mike Gilbert

I have a couple, but they appear to be hetero for muffs, as theirs are smaller than their hatch mates.   Nice tail color though, and pretty even top color.

If you have any extra decent cockerels bring them to Nationals, that's what I am looking for lol.

What color cockerel are you looking for Russ?  We have bantam blue, wheaten and maybe a blue wheaten.  We like them all well enough to keep, breed or show but there is too many.  Do you have any bantam wheaten females?  Maybe we could work a deal...

Russ Blair

Wheaten or Blue wheaten is what I would be looking for. I have around 20 pullets growing out right now. 9 are definite keepers the rest are to young yet. Then I have another 20 or so that are to young to tell yet. We could definitely work something out  ;)

Thanks Russ.  We could probably get you one of each if interested.  We will touch base closer to fall.🐔🐔🐔🐔
