Incubators for sale

Previous topic - Next topic

John W Blehm

I built two setter and two hatcher incubators about 5 years ago and by mid May I'll be ready to sell one of each, so I'll keep a pair and sell a pair with a wood stand/table.  The setter holds 792 eggs...6 trays of 132 each.  These work as well as any cabinet incubators I've used and I've had many over the decades.
Please email me if you are interested.

Dennis Heltzel

I'm interested in them, if I could figure a way to get them to PA. They could replace several of my GQF and Dickey cabinets.

John W Blehm

I'm sure I could ship them on pallets, but of course freight isn't cheap and it probably wouldn't be worth including the wood stand.
I'll be in WI once or twice this year and could deliver that far...Portage in September.  If you are coming the Fowl Fest, here in Michigan, in November you could pick them up at that time.  If an Alliance member pays for them I will store them until he/she can get them thru this year.
Asking $1,200 for the pair.

I put it up on the FB Site.  Maybe someone will be interested in your area.

Good luck.

Good luck.

Thanks.  I've only told one poultry person locally, wanting to offer them to friends and Alliance members first.  At least 3 people are inquiring.

Outside dimensions...
Setters â€" 31” wide, 28 ½” high, 42 ½” deep
Hatchers â€" 17 ½” wide, 26” high, 49 ½” deep

John W Blehm

These will be available by May 15th and I can deliver them to Portage, in September, with 50% down.

Suki

I did, FWIW, mention them on the APA Official list and tell people to contact you.  After that other incubators came up as well.

Price lowered to $850 per pair - one setter and one hatcher or $1,500 for all 4 units with the wood stands.

John, are you keeping any for yourself?   Will you be selling chicks next year.   You can p.m. if you like.

I'll keep a setter and hatcher for myself, but I only need one of each and I now have 3 of each.  The set that doesn't sell will be what I'll use.
I'm not sure if I'll ship chicks next year.  I only accepted a few orders for this year and that hatches have been so bad that I haven't been able to fill any yet, but if I do it'll be 30 years of selling and shipping day-old Ameraucana chicks.

If only we were a bit closer! Janet Tipton... another reason for a road trip.

A guy from down by Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area is on his way and is interested in one set.  Give me a call if you want to come by also.  I'm using one set, so they can't all go today but if you buy them I can start up my new ones and move the eggs over in a day or two.

Close, but no cigar.  He made the long drive and we had a good long talk and tour, but these are just too big for him and the few birds he has.  He is close to retirement age and just got into pheasants a couple years ago.
