Well that's just typical... My birds are falling to pieces. >:( >:( Show season is definitely getting close.

2 1/2 weeks can make a difference...for better or worse.  A couple days ago I notice 3 birds that are in individual coops with the same condition.  "Typical" it is for many of us.   ;)

Not to change the subject from the dreaded M word but. John could you put myself, my wife Nicole, daughter Marina and Uncle Dave down for Friday and Saturday dinners? I thought I saw it somewhere and believe it was on this post??

I took me awhile to figure out what the M word is...I'm a bit slow, but I generally catch on sooner or later.  With so many words referred to by their first letter it has been a challenge.

Reply #42 on page 3 was my post about the two meals, so I've started the list there.  It went out to all members in the Newsletter over a week ago, but no one else has signed up yet.

Start saving eggs for our annual egg contest at our National Meet.   ;)

Quote from: http://ameraucanaalliance.org/DnLd/Egg%20Contest.pdfAwards will be given for the “Best” and “Reserve” Large Fowl and Bantam eggs.

Entries will consist of six eggs presented in a suitable container of the entrant’s choice.

Ameraucana Egg Competition:
Best Bantam Eggs..................................................................................$50
Reserve Bantam Eggs.............................................................................$50
Best Large Fowl Eggs.............................................................................$50
Reserve Large Fowl Eggs........................................................................$50

All the details are in the PDF file on our Downloads page.  A used egg carton is fine to bring them in, since only the eggs are judged and not the container they are presented in.
