Egg color is very light blue, I don't see much green or brown tint, but a work in progress..

I'm going to restrain myself Russell..lol...spring will be here and that big redwood is going to be full for March hatches!!

Yay for pullet eggs!

I'm happy to report 4 out of my 20 keepers from this years crop have already started laying last week at 25 and 26 weeks. Shape and size looks decent so far, and colour is a pretty blue green. And now our eight year old refuses to eat anything but the wee fairy eggs, hehe.

Nice I have been getting some from my Bantam Silver and Lavender but no Large Fowl yet 😡😡

the down side {to bantams is that}, they don't seem to winter as well under harsh conditions  because of less body mass.   

I agree with all the upsides.  I have two bantam white araucanas and they are easier all around.  Being tractable is a definite plus when you show, but I've noticed that's more breed\variety related than size.
